2018 Annual Dougherty Lake Subdivision Meeting – Room Correction – Dogwood Room

The Annual Dougherty Lake Subdivision Business Meeting will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Des Peres Lodge in the Dogwood Room.

An agenda was mailed first class to all residents of Dougherty Lake.

Attached are reports from all of the trustees as well as the Audit Committee and the Indenture Committee.  This is our attempt to expedite the meeting process. Questions will be allowed from the floor.

Dougherty Lake Trustee Meeting, March 23, 7:00 pm

The Trustees are having their regular meeting on March 23 at Saint Gerard of Majella school, room 227 at 7:00 pm.  As always, interested residents are welcome.

One of the items on our agenda will be the discussion of increasing speeding frequencies by our fellow residents. There have been far too many close calls with speeding cars and children at play. We have contacted Des Peres police and our Alderman hoping they will also attend. Your input is always welcome. Please feel free to pass this along to your neighbors.

Latest update on Lake work

Update from Jim Gruenewald:

The Trustees met again Tuesday night to discuss the state of the lake.

First decision. The possibility of a small lake dredge was quashed. What initially looked like a good opportunity for the subdivision had turned into a major financial decision, not appropriate at this time.

Second decision. The Trustees decided to send letters to the remaining lakeside homeowners whose wall projects have stalled, informing them of a deadline to have their wall work completed. It is their responsibility to speak with their contractor(s).

Third decision. Our current landscaping company has failed to provide an estimate to treat, cut and remove the terrestrial weeds which have grown around the lake perimeter. We are contacting other companies for the work.

As of late yesterday, Jerry Parrish, contractor for most of the walls, responded to text by me and email from Sandy Baker, claiming his work to start again next week.
